Same-Page Workflow
Re-run operations repeatedly without losing your active tool workspace.
A slide has no text flow. Every element sits at a fixed position, which makes a presentation much closer to a PDF page than a Word document is.
Each page therefore becomes a slide built the way a layered page is: pictures placed first, then one shape per line pinned exactly where the PDF had it. The slide takes the size of the source page rather than being forced into a fixed widescreen canvas — scaling an A4 portrait page to 16:9 stretches the axes unevenly, which distorts every glyph and moves every line.
How it works
- 1Load the PDF. Pages are analysed for text position, size, colour and orientation.
- 2Slide construction. Graphics are placed, then each line becomes an editable text shape at its measured position.
- 3Download the .pptx. Opens in PowerPoint, Keynote, LibreOffice Impress or Google Slides.
When you need it
- Recovering an editable deck from an exported PDF
- Reusing slides from a conference handout
- Adapting a client presentation whose source file is unavailable
- Turning a printed poster into an editable layout
Frequently asked questions
- Will my slides be 16:9?
- They take the aspect ratio of the source pages. A deck exported from widescreen slides comes back widescreen; an A4 document comes back A4-shaped, undistorted.
- Is the text editable?
- Yes, each line is a real text shape. Autofit is deliberately left off so the viewer does not resize a shape and move the text away from the position just measured.
- What about animations and transitions?
- They cannot survive: a PDF never contained them.
- Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
- No. Every tool in PDF41 runs inside your browser tab using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your file is read from disk into memory, processed locally, and handed back as a download. It is never transmitted to a server, so there is nothing to intercept, retain, or delete afterwards.
- Does this work without an internet connection?
- Yes, once the page has loaded. The PDF engine, fonts and character maps are all served from this site rather than a third-party CDN, so an unstable connection or a locked-down corporate network does not stop the tool from working.
