Turning images into a PDF gives you one file instead of twenty, in a fixed order, that prints predictably and attaches to an email as a single document.
Pages are sized from real paper formats, or from an explicit pixel-to-point conversion at a stated resolution. This matters more than it sounds: image pixels are not PDF points, and treating them as though they were produces pages several metres wide. EXIF orientation is applied, so photographs taken sideways are not stored sideways.
How it works
- 1Add your images. JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and SVG are all accepted; the less common formats are rasterised on the way in.
- 2Order and configure. Set the sequence, then choose a paper size or a target resolution, plus margins.
- 3Download the PDF. One page per image, in your chosen order.
When you need it
- Turning photographed receipts into a single expense claim
- Assembling scanned pages captured with a phone
- Producing a portfolio or contact sheet from a set of photographs
- Submitting identity documents as one file
Frequently asked questions
- Why did my photograph come out rotated in other tools?
- Because they ignore the EXIF orientation tag that cameras write. It is applied here, so the page matches what you see in your photo viewer.
- Which formats can be embedded directly?
- PNG and JPEG. WebP, GIF, BMP and SVG are rasterised through a canvas first, since the PDF format cannot embed them as-is.
- How do I control the page size?
- Pick a paper format such as A4 or Letter, or give a resolution in dpi so pixel dimensions convert to a sensible physical size.
- Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
- No. Every tool in PDF41 runs inside your browser tab using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your file is read from disk into memory, processed locally, and handed back as a download. It is never transmitted to a server, so there is nothing to intercept, retain, or delete afterwards.
- Does this work without an internet connection?
- Yes, once the page has loaded. The PDF engine, fonts and character maps are all served from this site rather than a third-party CDN, so an unstable connection or a locked-down corporate network does not stop the tool from working.
