Extract Pages

Get a new document containing only your explicitly selected pages.

Tailored Parameters

Fine-tune exact dimensions, qualities, ranges, or security tokens for this feature.

Instant Local Processing

Zero latency local computation directly in your browser session.

Same-Page Workflow

Re-run operations repeatedly without losing your active tool workspace.

Extraction produces a new document containing only the pages you name, leaving the original untouched. It is the inverse of deleting pages: instead of saying what to remove, you say what to keep.

The extracted pages keep their original dimensions, rotation and content stream, so nothing is re-rendered or recompressed on the way out.

How it works

  1. 1Load the source PDF. Any accessible PDF works, including one you have just produced with another tool.
  2. 2Name the pages to keep. Individual pages and ranges can be combined freely, for example 2, 5, 9-14.
  3. 3Download the extract. A single new document is produced in the order you listed.

When you need it

  • Sending only the signature page of a long agreement
  • Pulling the financial appendix out of an annual report
  • Keeping the two pages of a bank statement a form actually asks for

Frequently asked questions

Does the original file change?
Never. Nothing is written back to the file you loaded; a new document is produced alongside it.
Can I reorder while extracting?
Pages come out in the order you list them, so naming 9, 2, 5 gives you that sequence.
What if the document is password protected?
Remove the restriction first with Unlock PDF, provided you are entitled to open the file.
Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
No. Every tool in PDF41 runs inside your browser tab using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your file is read from disk into memory, processed locally, and handed back as a download. It is never transmitted to a server, so there is nothing to intercept, retain, or delete afterwards.
Does this work without an internet connection?
Yes, once the page has loaded. The PDF engine, fonts and character maps are all served from this site rather than a third-party CDN, so an unstable connection or a locked-down corporate network does not stop the tool from working.
