Same-Page Workflow
Re-run operations repeatedly without losing your active tool workspace.
Rotation fixes pages that were fed into a scanner sideways or upside down. The change is written into the document rather than being a viewing preference, so every reader and every printer sees the corrected orientation.
You can rotate everything at once or pick out only the pages that are wrong.
How it works
- 1Load the PDF. Current page orientations are read.
- 2Choose pages and angle. Rotate 90, 180 or 270 degrees, across the whole document or a selected range.
- 3Download. The rotation is stored in the document itself.
When you need it
- Correcting pages scanned in the wrong orientation
- Turning landscape tables upright in a portrait report
- Fixing a document that displays correctly in one reader but not another
Frequently asked questions
- Why does my viewer show it correctly but the print is sideways?
- Because the viewer applied a temporary rotation that was never saved. Rotating here writes it into the file, so printing matches.
- Can I rotate only some pages?
- Yes, name the range. Use Organize PDF if you would rather pick pages from thumbnails.
- Does rotating affect quality?
- No. It changes a page attribute; no content is re-rendered.
- Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
- No. Every tool in PDF41 runs inside your browser tab using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your file is read from disk into memory, processed locally, and handed back as a download. It is never transmitted to a server, so there is nothing to intercept, retain, or delete afterwards.
- Does this work without an internet connection?
- Yes, once the page has loaded. The PDF engine, fonts and character maps are all served from this site rather than a third-party CDN, so an unstable connection or a locked-down corporate network does not stop the tool from working.
