HTML vers PDF
Convertir pages web ou fichiers HTML vers fichiers PDF
HTML to PDF renders your markup in an isolated frame, captures it, and slices the result across pages — which means the document's own CSS is preserved rather than being approximated by a text reflow.
The render viewport is derived from the printable page width in CSS pixels rather than a fixed browser width. A4 with no margin is 794px, because 210mm is exactly 793.7 CSS pixels. That is what makes a document authored in millimetres fill the page instead of floating inside blank bands.
How it works
- 1Provide the source. Paste HTML, upload a file, or give a URL.
- 2Set page geometry. Choose paper size, orientation and margins; leave the viewport on auto unless you have a reason not to.
- 3Convert and download. The captured render is paginated into a PDF.
When you need it
- Producing a PDF invoice or certificate from an HTML template
- Archiving a web page as it appears today
- Turning a styled report into a distributable document
- Generating a printable version of an email or newsletter
Frequently asked questions
- Why does a URL sometimes fail?
- Because a browser cannot fetch most other sites' pages directly — cross-origin rules forbid it. When that happens you are told so plainly rather than being handed a placeholder document. Save the page and upload the HTML file instead.
- Are my stylesheets honoured?
- Yes. The markup is rendered by the browser itself, so CSS layout, colours and web fonts apply as they would on screen.
- Does 100vh mean one page?
- Yes. The frame height follows the page geometry, so full-viewport sections map to full pages.
- Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
- No. Every tool in PDF41 runs inside your browser tab using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your file is read from disk into memory, processed locally, and handed back as a download. It is never transmitted to a server, so there is nothing to intercept, retain, or delete afterwards.
- Does this work without an internet connection?
- Yes, once the page has loaded. The PDF engine, fonts and character maps are all served from this site rather than a third-party CDN, so an unstable connection or a locked-down corporate network does not stop the tool from working.
