Delete Pages

Quickly remove unwanted pages from any PDF document.

Tailored Parameters

Fine-tune exact dimensions, qualities, ranges, or security tokens for this feature.

Instant Local Processing

Zero latency local computation directly in your browser session.

Same-Page Workflow

Re-run operations repeatedly without losing your active tool workspace.

Deleting removes the pages you name and writes out the remainder. The pages that survive are copied across untouched, so nothing is re-rendered or recompressed.

It is the counterpart to Extract Pages: use whichever expresses your intent in fewer keystrokes.

How it works

  1. 1Load the PDF. The page count is read so your selection can be validated.
  2. 2Name the pages to remove. Individual pages and ranges can be combined, for example 1, 4-6, 11.
  3. 3Download the trimmed document. A new file is produced; the original is left as it was.

When you need it

  • Stripping blank separator sheets out of a bulk scan
  • Removing an internal cover sheet before sending a document out
  • Dropping an obsolete appendix from a circulated report

Frequently asked questions

Can I recover a deleted page afterwards?
Not from the output file, but the original on your disk is never modified, so you always have it.
Does the file get smaller?
Usually, though shared resources such as embedded fonts remain if any surviving page still uses them.
Can I preview before deleting?
Use Organize PDF for a thumbnail view where you select pages visually.
Are my documents uploaded anywhere?
No. Every tool in PDF41 runs inside your browser tab using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your file is read from disk into memory, processed locally, and handed back as a download. It is never transmitted to a server, so there is nothing to intercept, retain, or delete afterwards.
Does this work without an internet connection?
Yes, once the page has loaded. The PDF engine, fonts and character maps are all served from this site rather than a third-party CDN, so an unstable connection or a locked-down corporate network does not stop the tool from working.
